Under the terms of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations it is a requirement that all CSS Pest Services Limited Service Technicians carry out a risk assessment on the use of the most appropriate pesticide where it is deemed necessary to apply a pesticide. This will be carried out using the guidelines indicated in the Generic COSHH assessment and the health and safety data sheets supplied by the product manufacturer (MSDS).
Health and safety data sheets are kept on file at CSS Pest Services Limited Head Office and are available to customers on request.
In addition to the COSHH assessment, environmental considerations will be made to determine any environmental impact that may occur. As all pesticides used by CSS Pest Services Limited are approved under the terms of the Control of Pesticide Regulations and environmental considerations are given under the approval scheme.
A COSHH assessment will be carried out prior to commencing any pest management operation.
